To get around Marbella Este and Marbella

Taxis, or private transportation services like Uber or Bolt, are perfect for short trips within Marbella Este or even within Marbella. However, if you plan to travel further beyond Marbella to other municipalities on the Costa del Sol, such as Mijas or Benahavís, the price may be higher.

• Taxi: For those looking for a more direct and private option, taxis are widely available in Marbella. Among the most common taxi services in Marbella, you will find two companies: Taxisol (952 77 44 88) and Taxi Marbella (618 34 89 24).

• Uber: We mentioned Uber Eats earlier for food delivery, and Uber also offers an excellent transportation service that allows you to get around Marbella Este and other areas of Marbella. How? It's very simple, just order an Uber by downloading their app, available for both Android and iOS.
• Bolt: Formerly known as Taxify, Bolt is a platform similar to Uber. Just download their app, available for all operating systems (Android and iOS), and move around as you wish from Costabella.
• Cabify: This Spanish company has been gaining popularity gradually. How does it work? Just like the previous two, download the app and order a Cabify – it's as simple as that! Available on Google Play and the Apple Store.

• Goldcar (918 341 400): Known for its affordable rates, Goldcar is a popular choice among tourists looking to rent a vehicle without spending too much. They have a wide variety of car models, from compacts ideal for city driving to larger vehicles suitable for families or groups. They are a frequent choice for those coming to spend their holidays on the Costa del Sol, and one of their multiple branches is located at Malaga Airport (Av. del Comandante García Morato, 48, 29004 Málaga). They provide services seven days a week from 07:00 to 23:01. Another branch is located in Gibraltar - La Línea (La Línea de la Concepción) and operates from Monday to Sunday from 09:00 to 19:59. Our recommendation is to rent your vehicle at Malaga Airport right after landing to eliminate transportation concerns during your stay in Costabella. Be sure to reserve your vehicle in advance through their website.
• Avis (951 32 40 60): If you're looking for a premium rental experience, Avis could be the right choice for you. This company stands out for its quick customer service, Quick Pass, and offers high-end vehicles, both cars and vans. Their location is Autovía del Mediterráneo, 340, km 175, 29660 Marbella, Málaga, and their hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 13:45 and 15:30 to 17:45, and Saturdays from 10:00 to 13:00, closed on Sundays. We also recommend booking your vehicle in advance through their website to secure your reservation.
• Yellow Car (952 83 14 92): This is a local car rental company founded in 1972 that has expanded its presence over the years, with offices in strategic locations on the Costa del Sol, including Malaga Airport (Av. del Comandante García Morato, 53, 29004; Ground Floor), open 24 hours a day, every day, and La Cala de Mijas. Of course, they also have an office in Marbella, open from Monday to Sunday, 9:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 19:00. Their Marbella office is conveniently located in Marbella Este, in El Rosario (C. Los Limoneros, 29604 Marbella, Málaga), where Costabella is situated. Like with Goldcar or Avis, we recommend booking in advance.
